Risk disclosure.
1. Trading carries substantial risk
Trading leveraged products (perpetual futures, forex, CFDs) can result in losses that exceed your initial deposit. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Plasso is software, not investment advice. Use only capital you can afford to lose entirely.
2. Plasso does not promise returns
Every track record we publish is historical. Markets change. Strategies that worked last quarter may underperform next quarter. Subscribers should not assume future performance will match the operator's historical performance, even on the same instruments and the same timeframes.
3. Where the risk lives
- Market risk. Prices move against your positions. The strategy's stop-loss caps a single loss; nothing caps the rate of consecutive losses.
- Slippage. Fills happen at market prices, not the prices you see when a signal fires. In thin liquidity (news events, weekend gaps, exchange outages) slippage can be significant.
- Counterparty risk. Your broker or exchange may freeze withdrawals, halt trading, or fail entirely. Plasso has no control over and no liability for the venue you connect.
- System risk. Plasso may have outages. The strategy may have bugs. Stops registered with the broker normally execute regardless, but in extreme conditions (gaps, halts) they may not fill at the price you expect.
- Operator risk. Plasso is operated by a small team. Decisions made by that team (what pairs to trade, when to pause, what trends to set) shape your results materially.
4. Prop-firm subscribers
If you connect a funded account from FTMO, FundedNext, or a similar prop firm, you are responsible for your firm's rules. Plasso's pre-trade gate enforces the daily and overall drawdown limits from the firm's public profile, but rules do change, and individual challenge contracts may differ from the published profile. Read your contract.
5. Crypto-specific risk
Cryptocurrency markets are 24/7 and unregulated in most jurisdictions. Liquidity can vanish with no warning during weekends and exchange-specific outages. Mark-price methodology on perpetual futures can produce unexpected liquidations even when the index price never touches your stop. Funding rates accrue continuously and can erode positions held longer than a few days.
6. Forex-specific risk
Major news events (NFP, CPI, FOMC) routinely produce multi-pip slippage and widened spreads. Brokers may execute stops at significantly worse prices during these windows. Plasso's news-pause feature reduces but does not eliminate this risk. Operators of prop-firm subscribers should review their firm's news-trading rules carefully.
7. Your responsibility
- You decide how much capital to fund the account with.
- You decide the daily loss limit your dashboard enforces.
- You decide whether to keep Plasso running during high-impact news, weekend gaps, or extreme volatility.
- You decide when to disconnect, pause, or close positions manually.
8. Not investment advice
Plasso is software you license. Nothing on this site, in our emails, or in the dashboard constitutes investment advice, financial planning, tax planning, or legal guidance. Consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction before making decisions about your money.
